A firm favourite in my house! These tasty little treat are a fab mid morning or afternoon snack, add them to your oats or yogurt - don't forget to hide them from the kids!
Good quality dark chocolate, nuts, seeds and dried fruit have a whole list of health benefits from being packed with iron & magnesium to helping with heart disease and being powerful anti oxidants, however as with most things, everything in moderation due to the sugar & calorie
content.
Ingredients:
Dark Chocolate
Mixed nuts & seeds (of choice)
Dried fruit such as cranberries or apricots
You will need:
Large baking tray or similar lined with baking parchment
Method:
Melt the chocolate gently in a bowl over a hot pan.
Once the chocolate has melted use a teaspoon to spoon onto the baking parchment to make 'button' rounds. Before the chocolate starts to set sprinkle over your nut & seed mix and your dried fruit. Let them cool in the fridge, enjoy.
